[Customization] [Armor] Robe 3D Model: A Call for Variety

Hi all!

I want to start off with an appreciation for the intricate details and creativity that have gone into the game’s design over the years. However, it is time to address a long-standing issue that has remained unchanged since the game’s inception: the repetitive 3D model for robes.

The model has not changed by much sans the sleeves and there is a want to see more diversity - this is something echoed by clothies who appreciate the newfound pant sets, but it would be nice if the robes provided could be different versus some 3D mesh sleeve changes, a collar change and of course the textures.

Short dresses, tunics and other innovative modifications would greatly enhance the customization options available, especially for clothies who deal with the robe monotony. This would breathe more life into character appearances and showcase the game’s ability to adapt with age in not using the same tired 3D robe design.

For me personally: One of the most common complaints from players I speak to transitioning from other MMORPGs to Warcraft is the lack of diversity in robe silhouettes. Many modern MMORPGs offer a wide range of clothing styles, allowing players to create unique and visually appealing characters.

By expanding the range of robe designs, Blizzard can meet the expectations of its playerbase in 2024 and beyond. Allowing for such variety would demonstrate innovation and a commitment to engaging the community with compelling designs that do not all sit on generally the same 3D mesh robe.

Thank you for reading me out!

Thank you for listening to us! We have wanted changes from the same, tired robe/dress/skirt 3D mesh.

Super excited for this and more to come!
