Customizable slowed down leveling exp?

I know you can turn off XP gain but why can’t I have a system to just turn it down by whatever percentage I want? I want to go through all old world and then every expansion in order and want the levels to be appropriate as they would’ve been. Is there any feature like this or have the devs said anything regarding this?

Currently NO. it’s the ‘go go go’ world of warcraft now where everything is get to max level as fast as you can and then learn to play in m+ and raids and get ridiculed at every turn. I know a few people that tried the game and quit do to that fact. Only way is to play classic, and then you can’t transfer the toon you KNOW how to play into retail, so they (blizzard) only cater to people that already have a max toon of every class / spec to know how to play already.

That’s not how the game works any longer. However i do think if they are going to have any variance of classic WoW, they need to have each and every expansion available that remains (I haven’t been back to Classic since the removal of TBC). Cata was and still is trash.

Same. Which is why I want Chromie Time to be usable at max level. I’m probably going to just freeze a toon at level 69 as my expansion revisitor.

Granted, this is a long term dream. For when I theoretically have a lot of downtime in WoW. Which I don’t seem to have many of these days.

To answer the question:
Devs haven’t said anything about it.

There are no features like it.

Turn xp off, everything is level appropriate. Ta-da.

There’s no way to gauge how fast someone will or won’t level so shutting it off entirely is the only option that makes any sense to have.

No.

I would like to see the following experience (xp) options added:

a) Explorer- original xp for each expansion (for those that want to experience the content)
b) Defender- xp is divided up per expansion (for those that want to experience an expansion in full)
c) Conqueror- present quick system (for those who want to barrel thru to endgame)

I think there should be a slider in the interface panel.
