Customizeable mounts are fun, but it’s annoying to have to re-customize the mounts on every alt. Your customizations should be account wide with a toggle if you want an alt to have a different looking version.
For now, they’re going off my favorite mounts because I can’t be arsed to customize 6 mounts everytime I log onto an alt.
Thank you for coming to my first world problem ted talk.

Yeah, something like a default account wide appearance would be nice.
Though I don’t know if I’ll use anything beyond the Prismatic Disk when it gets dynamic flight in TWW.
I don’t plan on using mounts unless I’m forced to in order to mine while mounted. Currently druids cannot mine in flight form, but other static mounts CAN. Not sure if this will change in dragonflight.
Basically the only time I will use mounts on my main is if I’m forced to for mining.
i wouldnt want that forced on us because i like to customize some mounts to match character-specific transmog.

I think most mounts will have a toggle between flight modes in TWW. I had no idea you could mine on most static mounts, though, I thought that was a special thing for the shredder. Huh.
I said right there that it should be account wide by default but with an optional individual toggle per alt. Nothing would change, you just wouldn’t have to spend all that time recustomizing.
Eh, it’s not that hard to customize them and there are like a billion other quality of life improvements those resources could be spent on.
The shredder can’t mine, it can only herb (just like druid flight form.)
However in Dragonflight, there are two perks in the profession class tree that allow mining/herbing while dragonriding. This was before static riding was an option.
Once static riding was included, you could also mine/herb while mounted if you had that perk. However it does not apply to druid flight form, you can only herb. If you try to mine while in flight form it removes the shapeshift.

If they had a toggle option then fine. But I like matching the customizations of my mounts to my characters.
