Customisable Character-Login Backgrounds

Do you guys think we should have customisable aesthetical character-login screens?

  • Personally, I’d love more character-backgrounds :partying_face:

Whether it’s various background portraits for your chosen race, class or even something gained on an achievement earned.

For example:

Human Login Screens:

  • Goldshire
  • Human Tavern (why not)
  • Stormgarde Keep
  • Sentinel Hill
  • Lakeshire
  • Dalaran

Orcs Login Screens:

  • Orgrimmar
  • Throne of the Elements (Outland)
  • Ritual Chamber (Like the Bleeding Hollow Ritual site in AU Draenor)
  • In the centre of the ruins of Auchindoun.
  • In front of the Dark Portal (Both options from either Outland or Blasted Lands)
  • The Crossroads

Night Elves Login Screens:

  • Bel 'ameth
  • Darkshore (with burned Teldrassil seen in the distance)
  • Nordrassil
  • Blackrook Hold (looking restored)
  • Nar’thalas
  • Moonglade

Class Login Screens:

  • Order Halls
  • and other lore-relevant areas to the respective class held (for example, shamans could also have Throne of the Elements & mages could also have Dalaran).

As for the achievement earned login screens, naturally that can be up for debate later on but anyway …

Those are all just some examples — and before it’s said, yes I know this isn’t really “Needed” but neither is transmog or additional pets & mounts really, however it’s still very pleasing to quite a few players and helps set the aesthetic & mood for people when they go to play. :slight_smile:

You mean the camp? its already being worked on.

I don’t just mean the camp, but that would be nice too.

You can only fit in 4 characters into the warband ‘camp’ — Naturally however, you also have other characters too; which all have their individual placeholder backgrounds depending on their race (or hero-class).

All I want is a tavern where my characters can be drunk, passed out, throwing up on a gnome, and dancing naked on a table for gold like in the old days.

Having an Alliance / Horde themed tavern for the background screen depending on your faction would be great too, haha

Would also be great having a neutral tavern character-selection background screen for both factions — Such as the Shattrath city inn, with Ethereals, Harris Pilton and the ogre in the background with hookahs seen in the distance would be great :joy: Give off those Mos Eisley cantina (Star Wars) vibes, lol
