I’ve been trying to think of ways to make gold to pay for my subscription and hopefully the new expansion, and I only have Dragonflight WoW. I’ve been practicing my weakauras and am wondering if there is even a demand for people who need custom weakauras made for them. For example, I tried to find one for my grandma to show her when her trueshot aura is active. I honestly would have rather just made her one, and now I’m wondering if other people also need custom weakauras but cant make them. Is there anyone out there looking for stuff like that?

You could always post your WAs on Wago and if they become popular (# downloads > X, where X is determined by Waga), then maybe you get a tip from Wago? It seems doubtful you’ll find an in-game market for that, but you could try.
I think it might be more productive to do a Google Search on “wow 2024 gold farming dragonflight” if you have lots of time but little RL cash.
No, you cannot ask for gold or real money in exchange for an addon.
Do carries, if not then play AH (get TSM for that), farm, farm, farm and play AH some more.

Learn the markets, it’s not hard, you’ll find that people sell stuff very cheaply when they have no idea what they are selling.
You can buy stuff bulk at weekend and flip on raid day, plenty of gold making opportunity, just gotta put the effort in initially to get some momentum.
just download one of the weakaura packs. afenar or luxthos are solid choices for hunter just depends if you want flashy or simple.
I want to use WeakAuras because it seems like a really nifty thing but every time I’ve tried to browse the website none of them seem like a right fit for me. I don’t need all the Mythic+ or raider end-game setups because I don’t do that kind of content. I wouldn’t even know what to ask for in terms of functionality because it feels like anything I would use it for is already covered by another addon I use.
I think I originally tried it out for the Dalaran mail sorting achievement to get Katy Stampwhistle, and that was great. The Ultimate Mouse cursor was neat but bulky and distracting for me.
I actually tried it out again a couple weeks back and still wound up deleting it after about 20 minutes because I was just so lost.
I don’t see why asking for gold in exchange for help with addon settings is against the rules.
