Ok so i’ve listed some future zones cup locations I’d like but also think it would be cool to create community created cups in any zone. It could be done with 2 keybinds “Start/Stop Creation” and “Place Ring”. Be cool to fly around placing rings and then set a timer and have the community place different cups in some cool creative locations.
For future zones,
I enjoy many of the cups and I particularly enjoyed blades edge (trying to avoid the spikes like the skewered dragons couldn’t) and netherstorm (around and through the eco domes). Some were sleepers though with some missed locations, but enjoyed most of them, thanks for the great effort you put into them.
Some areas for future cups which can continue to take advantage of the unique environments that I would like to see would be:
Northrend:
- Dragonblight in and around wymrest temple, bit basic/obvious but necessary
- storm peaks, zone designed for flying lots of good titanic underground locations to use
- coldarra
- grizzly hills around the hollow tree
Cata:
- Top of deepholm
- Vashj’ir special underwater seahorse riding event
ok I need to think about this one more. - uldum through the secret pyramid tunnels and up near the windy dungeons.
MoP:
- special timeless isle/Isle of thunder/giant isle ones (mists had some good isles)
- the cloud serpent track
- the massive hidden temple at the back of kunlai summit
- bug temple in mop zone using roots of the trees to test people.
WoD
- old shattrath
- karabor (make it feel useful
- that darktide island at the bottom of shadowmoon if that’s what its called
Legion:
- Highmountain in that open extensive cave system.
- streets of suramar
- stormheim halls of valor or tideskorn harbour through the viking ships/obstacles
Bfa:
- Snek temple
- shrine of storm in and around the tentacles
- nazjatar in the drowned market area
Shadowland:
- so many good ones in revendreth any of the castles not just out in the open like kalimdor cup
- Purity pinnacle in bastion
