It’s the easiest way to level skinning, and no one usually cares but today a guy started getting aggressive and actually cussed me out for doing it. The more I did it, the more he cussed me out, which just made me want to do it more. It’s kind of a chicken or the egg type of deal. Who is in the wrong?

I follow people farming on my druid, esp bots when I find one, and skin the mobs as they die /shrug

I mean, if the person killing mobs has skinning and you’re taking their tags, you’re in the wrong 100%. Unless it’s a bot, then have at it.
Rule of thumb I use is to wait a few seconds. If they loot it and walk away, it’s free game.

I mean as a skinner you learn to not loot your mobs until you want to skin them because of this reason, so technically a skill issue.

Probably a good idea to say “Hey, I am going to skin these, let me know if you need them”. Always helps to calm people before it becomes an issue.
If your skinning when he wanted to skin them, you are clearly in the wrong.
I remember back in the day I had a guy trying to skin my mobs. He’d just stand next to me while I’m killing mobs, and skin the mob the instant I looted it.
So I gathered up all the mobs, aoe’d them down, and just stared at him as he waited for me to loot them. So I waited. He waited. Sat there for about 3 minutes doing that.
I walked away without looting the mobs. Legends say to this day he is still waiting there.
