Yesterday my cursor was normal (silver gauntlet with gold trim, switches to a pick icon when mining, exc) but now it is bright white this morning? I didn’t switch anything out but windows did do an update last night. Could that be causing it? And how do I correct it?
Update: I tried the whole turn on and off the windows theme and it is still washed out.

Hello Quirin!
If the cursor is displaying a normal Windows cursor, this suggests something is stealing screen focus from World of Warcraft. Often, this could be a program with overlay functionality that’s going a bit haywire.
The following steps will guide you through shutting down non-Microsoft programs that boot up automatically, which overlay-enabled apps usually are:
Closing Background Applications
Best of luck in your adventures
It is still a gauntlet (or mining pick on node or bag on vendor exc) but it is super washed out color wise, super washed out color, almost white with just the slightest of tints)
It’s probably related to the Windows 1903 update adding a light theme. You may want to change themes to a ‘dark’ theme, to see if that changes things.
Already tired to switch to a dark theme, and a light theme, and a custom theme, all with full restarts between and it isn’t correcting the issue.
I am having the same issue, have you found a solution yet?

Hi Akasha
It seems the cause of this issue for some folk was a Windows update. One possible solution is to reinstall or update the graphics driver.

Updated my Nvidia driver to the latest driver (7/23/19) and it fixed the issue. Hopefully this works for anyone else that might come across this after updating Windows.
