[@cursor] macro should be a default ui option

When you start playing the game? Sure. You probably want to see where you’re placing something. When you play a class for a while, chances are you macro every single ability with this to increase the speed of any ability that uses it.

Should be a simple UI tick box under combat to implement. That is all.

If WoW areas weren’t so 3D, I’d agree with you.

Heck, macroing is almost standard practice for reticle actions in FFXIV and that’s despite the fact that combat macros in that game are usually bad news bears to the point that (outside of combat rez macros that include a callout to avoid multiple people wasting their swiftcast cooldown) the literal advice is “macros are for crafting, they suck in combat” … but also, that’s FFXIV, where as the result of terrain exploit issues running amok in 2.x when they tried having more interesting arenas, pretty much every boss arena since has been a bog standard flat Soulcalibur style arena, lol.

As it is though, cursor a couple pixels off and next thing your ability is targeted fifty feet up from where you wanted it and targets Elune knows what if you hastily click there. Did Torghast plenty of times on Frost Mage, I know this ALL too well …
