Curseforge standalone installer

Overwolf is a resource HOG. If your not running a lot of ram then OW bogs down pretty bad. and the load time is outrageous. The standalone is SO much better.

Whatever addon thing you use just scans your wow addon folder for addon and loads them up. Switching wouldn’t delete anything it just gets grabbed by a different program.

The standalone client is great. I use it for 18 seconds a day and close it.

I play almost completely solo so most of mine have nothing to do with Tank/DPS/Healer.

Here are just a few.

Altoholic, Bagnon, Bartender4, BtWQuests, HandyNotes, Leatrix Plus & Maps, Postal, Quartz, SavedInstances, SexyMap, Skinner, Titan Panel, WealAuras, WorldFlightMap

Personal preference. Not a huge fan of Overwolf and don’t have a use for any of its functions other than grabbing add-ons.

Had some of those like Bartender (actually liked the new default better with DF), Handynotes and Leatrix. None of them had a use for me. So I dropped them

I hate the new Default as much as I hated the old one. I’ve never used ANY of the Default UI.

Removes ads, lets you change layout, plus most of the sub fee goes to addon authors. I used to donate individually to them, but this is a lot easier.

I do the same, it doesn’t take long at all to up date my addons even after a major update. So like you I just open it, update, then close it.

You won’t need to reinstall your addons because it just scans your addon folder and the ones that are in the curseforge database will show up in the list.

I would highly recommend just getting the WoWup addon client (with Curseforge integration specifically) instead though. Not only does it scrape curse’s database, but also wowinterface’s and tukui’s as well (very handy if you use tukui or elvui).

They have another client that specifically scrapes from wago because for some reason curse and wago can’t be in the same room, but there’s nothing stopping you from having both clients.
