Curseforge "Addon might be corrupt"

When I install an addon for WOTLK, it always duplicates to Retail. Even though the addon only works for WOTLK (take Pallypower, for example).

This causes a Yellow Warning Sign to be shown with the warning, “This addon might be corrupt. Belongs to another game version.” This warning gets shown for both game versions.

I have tried to reinstall many times but the same error pops up.

Any advice?

Wouldn’t worry about it. If the addon works, it works.

But does it work? I don’t think I see the update button with this error.

Also I see the WOTLK version on Retail. Why is Pallypower in Retail lol?

The corruption issue/installing it to Retail is a bug with CurseForge.
Just try the addons and see if they work.

My first question would be “How do you install an addon from Curseforge?”

This issue has been going on since WoWup got rek’t… why is it taking such a big company so long to fix?

And is anybody else dealing with this same issue?

WoWUp has a CF supported version now.
