Sadly am so bored, everytime I try to log in I log out…

I tried taking a break that wont help…

Honestly I been trying to quit since SL and cant help but keeping my self having active sub

I even changed my play style and still bored, not sure if the content or just me in general bored with this game I mean I started around Lich king, I enjoyed the game until the end of Legion and for whatever reason I just started getting bored and every time I log in I log out… I mean Lich king, WoD I just did casual stuff, Legion I did M+ and Mythic Raiding enjoyed it till the end, BFA only switched back to M+… SL and DL just casual…now this Expansion am still casual lol…anyway I still got sub till end of 2026 active lol…

some advice on what to else to do would be helpful…

Farm the T2 anniversary sets. Last time we had solid class sets all around was Legion & these are all right up there.

I’d argue this is 99% - 100% of WoW players at this point.

Noobies aren’t addicted, they take one look at WoW and say “hell no” lol.

TLDR - The game was once fun a long time ago, but you develop a tolerance just like with anything else.

Eventually, WoW just doesn’t give off the dopamine it once did.

Altoholicism keeps me busy as I have multiple objectives to reach completion with so many characters. I can only get around to do about 26 characters per week so I have my primary 13 then alternate between which other set I want to focus on for that week.

My schedule doesn’t allow me to play every day and I can only binge play certain days so I never really feel bored or burned out when I do play. Plus, I also play other games as well to changes things up. WoW is that one comfy place I can always come back to.

If you are bored, play something else? Take a break? Read a book? Maybe contemplate doing the content you’ve ignored. It’s something you gotta figure out for yourself, there is only so much “advice” people can give you when you’re bored with a game.

Take a break. Or Switch to Hardcore Classic. Level to you die, repeat until the challenge wears off. Then either wait for the Siren Isles patch or Plunderstorm to be released. Play until the challenge wears off then take a break til the next patch.

Solo can get boring been there. Honestly a game like wow need a guild or a buch of player to enjoy, have fun and raid with.

He doesn’t have the backbone to start a potato farm, it takes years of training, education and perseverance to achieve that goal… I could take him under my wing and teach him the way, but it would take years, maybe even decades.

The game is just too easy and fast paced. It’s not just the players getting bored but also how much pressure is put on the Dev teams to keep pumping out half baked content? Blizzard needs to slow down and make great content. They need to make it challenging and rewarding so people stay engaged.

Already have almost all of them. Will have everything in the next week or two then the anniversary will also be useless. Which just further emphasizes the problem.

If the game is “too easy” everyone would be a mythic raider, keystone hero and gladiator. It’s obviously not a game for pushovers…

There’s nothing wrong with taking a break. I think we all need one from time to time. Better than burning out and winding up hating the game.
