Idk how you didn’t know how controversial the whole, having or not having RDF has been. Forums or not, it also has been a hot topic within the game. at first, there might’ve been more people accepting of the fact that RDF would not be put into the game. But I’ve heard from people that even played since when classic came out that they are wanting the RDF now. I feel you’re letting your own opinion voice more people than there actually are. I’ve not talked to much people at all that don’t want the RDF now

Because I came back to the game after not really paying attention to Blizzard for a long long long time. In fact, I only came back because a news post lead me to a discussion about them not adding RDF.
Perhaps you should read my post again. My post is “my” opinion. I’m not voicing for anyone but me. I don’t really care about all the people that want the game to change. I came here to thank Blizzard for the current version. My family is enjoying it. We don’t want it to change.
There’s a bit of a double standard in your response. You’ve talked to a few people who talked to a few people and now you have a sense of some statistical significance; but, the idea that I like the game in its current form has become a voice for a collective? So, you speak for the other collective because you heard from a few people and that trumps my own sentiments?

Humans are complicated. Some people can like the current game. Some people don’t have to like the current game. The only confusing human behavior here are the droves of people, with a perfectly valid copy of the game in retail with ALL these features they want, coming here to the other camp and wanting this version to change.
- There’s a version with RDF out right now and playable.
- There’s a version without RDF out right now and playable.
There’s a place for everyone. I say to folks who don’t like the game as they released it, why are you here? WoTLK is still in retail AND has RDF? It teleports you straight to the dungeon, no queues to login; it has everything people want?
To be fair, I wasn’t really trolling or debating. It was much simpler than that! I just like the game and I think its okay to express that. I’m thankful for the current version. Both camps should share their sentiments. Not everything on the forum has to be negative!
…but, you’re correct. I lack the context he’s blabbering about to really understand how he concluded this is a troll post and I’m not gonna invest in reading months of forum posts. His nonsense about trolling is just him being toxic.

That guy is toxic and I’m pretty sure he’s just an old troll who came back with a new name still level 10 with 20 achievements though and new tricks. The new trick is, pretend to be on the side that most of the people on this forum are on so that you can mess around with the other side freely.
That checkmark post proved it. I’ve only seen one person do it.
When someone just throws the troll word at something like this it’s just projection.

Except the LFG tool is broken and many people have complained about it.
Don’t engage with the zoo animals, just watch them like an exhibit. They don’t have any actual arguments or relevant information, they’ll just argue you into a circle until you leave.
On our realm it works great and we can form groups in minutes.

Good to see anti-RDF has joined the throng of other Sunday posts. There certainly weren’t enough other threads available for you to have your say in.
Being able to play with your friends is not “chipping away at the community.” Being able to get off server that had queues, or of servers that were practically dead, was also not “chipping away at the community.” As usual, a lot of these anti-RDF ‘points’ are using extreme minority of players to create boogeymen.
Ironically, a lot of you anti-RDF folk are not involved in the community at large. Shocker there!
Oh, no. You absolutely exist. Just like every Karen out in the wild, you make sure we know you exist.
And once Blizzard adds it, none of you have to use RDF to form your groups if you don’t want to. You can even RP walk with your group from Orgrimmar to Desolace if you want to! That ought to add some excellent background dressing for other players.
Oh well, at least you do. You are already well ahead of the curve compared to a lot of people on your side on this point.
Still need to work on not insulting people who does not share your opinion though, but you are on the right track! Keep it up.

There’s not sharing my opinion, and then there’s being wrong.
There’s also something extra funny about mega server players thinking they have any valid points about server community with or without RDF.

How can we be wrong on a debate regarding personal preferences when it comes to playing mmorpgs? We’re debating opinions… it’s healthy to have different perspectives.
It’s not about right vs wrong. It’s about what we prefer from a game design perspective. You prefer something, I prefer something else, we can both exist.

Exactly, your posted opinion has zero bearing on whether or not RDF exists.
In fact, many players (including myself many times) will absolutely still form groups via chat, just like they did in Wrath, Cata, MoP, etc. and simply use the queue/random feature.
Wrath features, and especially Wrath defining features, like RDF, belong in Wrath Classic.
Some people think the earth is flat as well. And while your entitled to your opinion, not everyone else has to fawn over it. You’re not a victim, sit down.
