I’ve been waiting 15 minutes to get on and only 175 of the 375 mb needed for the full update has been downloaded. Anyone else having this problem?

Oh, there’s an update happening?
That might explain why my UI is going crazy, bars moving around on their own, and now when i open my bags, they completely cover all of the bars i have down the right side of my screen (the ones where i keep my professions/non combat stuff), super annoying!
I was on this morning and had stuff like that happening. Maybe that’s what the update is about.
Also, I just made the mistake of pausing it to see if it would let me play and do the update later but no go. And now it’s reset and back to only 20 mb downloaded. It’s CRAWLING. /cry
It’s going incredibly slow for me too, and it doesn’t look very big.
No problem here … strange time of day for an update though.

I wonder why it’s going so slow for some and not for others. That’s weird. It’s been 20 minutes since my last post when I had 20mb downloaded, and now 20 minutes later it’s only at 28 mb downloaded. It’s getting late here so looks like no WoW for me tonight. 
I left the game and now mine’s downloading at glacial speed, it took maybe 10 minutes just to get through the initializing stage lol

been trying to log on for about 20 minutes.
yeah, slow download on my end, but perhaps it’s related to other things on my end, too. i’ve had slow bnet download speeds for years…
on fios and DL rate is sub 1mb/s
There’s got to be something wrong with the servers. At this rate it will take an average of 15 hours to download 375 mb! We’re back in 1989, lol.

Main problem I am having is that battle net still is having trouble connecting and so in SCII when I play that, the achievements many times will not be rewarded to you if you are having connection issues.

The “prep” scan went quick until the last 4MB. Then it took 10 min for 4MB and the actual update was over in seconds. We should really be more understanding though they are a small, independent publisher.
interesting, my download for classic was much faster. different servers, ya?
I went to speedtest dot net and their app says my internet download speed is around 900 mbps so it’s probably not your connection Avelmaegwyn, but you never know.
Just logged off after a bit and it started updating for me. Only took about 30 seconds though.
Maybe restart the battle.net client to see if it goes faster.
Tiannah, you’re a genius! It worked. Though not at first. I also had to reboot my PC and then start up the client, but after that it was done in a flash.
