I’m new to the class/spec. Being used to more button mashing classes, I am in the midst of determining a keybinding philosophy for casters that would be separate from melee, rotationally speaking for the most part. So I am curious what you guys bind Ebon might/eons to, as well as the ones that keep the buff up.
Overall seems chill once used to, but I do have a few initial criticisms that may be solved as I level idk… Anyways Blistering Scales on yourself should increase cast speed for being hit by melee attacks. Ebon might does not seem to have much a visual effect, I feel like buff being up and there being abilities off CD can be shown on your person in a more intuitive way, right now I’m relying on buff displays, addons. I mean if something is off CD that keeps up Ebon might I’d rather there be a visual effect for it, like how when tip the scales is on. The rotation is very simple but timing is still crucial so it would improve the ease of access and look cool. Maybe glyphs
So far seems pretty chill, good alt potential.
I use an MMO mouse and have the 2 button for Ebon, shift f for breath, and 1 on mouse for eruption. I re-keybound my buttons on my mouse so that they aren’t actually 1 and 2.
Well the only thing that keeps it up is your empowered spells and eruption, after a while you just kinda learn the timing of them (or make a quick glance to your action bar).

Fair point. Though it is because there is only 4 abilities that I figure it would be reasonable to bake in the CD’s and duration into the aura’s of the character. I think with some classes/specs things get a little muddy and are more situational, while this small rotation is core of the spec. So it can be easily represented without heads up display like buttons or weakauras, but instead the character itself having auras.
Play a real spec that has to actually do something other than be a water boy, the class is terrible and gets brought to everything off of principle because blizzard thinks its healthy for the game to have a walking PI that doesnt have to do anything
Aug has the same utility as the other evokers because it’s not Aug utility its evoker utility.
Also you’re just a hater. Cant complete 10’s without a meta spec that isn’t even good in weekly 10’s?
This is why some people try to specifically look at Aug specific utility.
Primary stat on healer/tank, tank armor, mage barrier on breath, vers on dps.
