You’re a tank, if you care about damage that much to complain, you’re doing it wrong.
Especially when some dps is doing 1-1.2mill
How would you like to do 110% less healing or 110% less dps than your healing and/or dps contemporaries? I bet you’d love it.
Why is it always evokers
These were Patchwerk sims at 2 minutes so the enemies would not really reach Execute Range.

Execute wasn’t even used in this at all – only 5 casts during the Single Target sim. The sim also shows 98% uptime on Shield Block and 50% uptime on Ignore Pain so your argument is nulled.
Hpal damage is already pitiful compared to other healers
We seem to be the only logical players that’s why
theyll fix this, and likely nothing else for quite some time. its raid or die at blizzard, and always has been.
I would happily accept that in exchange for paladin blessings, battle rez, bloodlust on a warrior.
You didnt even read your own sims. They only cast shield block ONE TIME, and the Ignore Pains were passive procs and/or rage dumping. not legit casts for mit.
Oh and both sims used execute.
NEXT.
Yeah but holy paladins are basically the brewmasters of healers right now.
You can’t read sims apparently. Read the Ability Log. It was used on cooldown in the sims.
0:03:127 Shield Block
0:08:718 Shield Block
0:16:531 Shield Block
0:24:345 Shield Block
…
1:56:908 Shield Block
Might want to delete your comment before people see how foolish you are.
As a Guardian Druid, all I ask for is the bear necessities, the simple bear necessities of life.
(and to forget about my worry and my strife)
Only 110%, gotta pump those up, those are rookie numbers.
I love how they just ignore Brew constantly. I get they can’t balance everything, but they don’t even try, AND the fact that in the tank dps buff conversation, someone had to bring up that Brew should get a lesser % relative to the other tanks, and others agreed.
I mean it can’t just be 1 guy deciding those changes prior to implementation, can it?
This just isn’t good for the game. VDH and prot paladin have such good utility and if prot warrior gets nerfed, they’ll have the best tank damage too. Maybe we need to stop focusing on tank damage and just plead with Blizzard to remove a large chunk of that utility from these 2 offenders.
All the other tanks are probably the closest they’ve been for a while. The tank balancing wouldn’t be very bad right now if it wasn’t for brew being so far behind.
Ahh OK so it involves a lot of Rube Goldberg stacking of buffs, some of which are entirely random. Still that’s not too bad, especially since the cooldown of the instant vivify is so short.
As a prot pally, I’m happy for prot warriors. If blizz is going to “balance,” then buff the lower tanks or just leave it the f alone. Lose the stupid nerf hammer. We should work towards being equally happy not equally miserable.
Yeah. I mean, ideally as a Brewmaster you never have to press Vivify and its very likely it does nothing 95% of the time – your healer should be able to save people just like you would. Also theres a chance it doesn’t crit and you only heal for something like 700k and they still die anyways.
But those 5% situations make it at least worth trying to use it. Keep in mind that Vivify uses the standard 1.5s GCD so it really messes up Brewmaster’s rotation and can get a funky offset in your standard 4-second Blackout Kick dance
Look at my class. Do you think I want Prot Warrior nerfs or Brewmaster buffs? Cmon now. I’m absolutely fine with Prot War damage being good but I’m not okay with it being 110% more than mine or 60% more than mine in raid – especially since my co-tank is going to be a Warrior and fighting for threat is not the mini-game I enjoy.
Brewmaster has been shafted and neglected. I’m with you on that.
Hmm I don’t know, I kind of like the way this looks.
