I’ve been playing since vanilla, never unsubbed. Not saying I will but damn Blizz, you are pushing all the right buttons.
The promises not kept, the bugged out patch, the silence, the new evergreen feature you can’t even keep basic gimbles on for rotating decor. You know the list is long and exhausting. And I’m just talking housing, not actual game issues.
Please make sure that road map, you have yet to get out there, for housing includes every $75 shop bundle you will be adding.
Next up on the store: Save your floor styles, for real this time, we promise - $50.

Current state: so fed up I haven’t logged in to WOW for several days & I’m back to playing Stardew Valley until things actually improve with housing.
At least Stardew gives me 2 houses I can expand and furnish with no bugs, and I can marry an NPC and have them move in LOL.

It’ll be in the cash shop. for $29.99 you can have a boyfriend to hang around and cook your dinner. Fancy clothes cost extra.

I’m honestly not even that mad about housing decor hitting the shop, and I tend to buy most shop items…but the price compared to mounts and pets is getting ridiculous. I’ve loved housing more than almost any other system in the game, but for the love of everything, how about they address the bugs that have killed the enjoyment of housing before asking us to pull out our wallets? I know it’s unrealistic, but at this point, they should be giving us free items to keep us playing and engaged, not asking for the price of an expansion for decor that will probably break in the next patch update.

No joke, I’m going back to Palia. They have almost the exact same housing system with the exception that you can’t lift things into the air, otherwise its almost the same AND has the stardew valley farming and collection and friendship/romance aspect. I definitely recommend it if you’re hankering for this kind of gameplay! Also.. ITS FREE! With no paid decor bundles, their cash shop is for outfits only, but they’re not even necessary.

Its the price for me 100%. I was expecting it to be the same price as the last bundle which ..was more than I wanted but at least I had some bnet balance to blow on it. There is no way in hell I am paying $75 for virtual house items when it costs me $45 just to fill up my dang car for gas rn…

Yeah honestly for something they were making a headline feature of the expansion, Blizz is showing a remarkable lack of…treating housing like an important system, let’s just say.

It would totally be one thing, too, if they had a lot more base game assets to use. I wouldn’t even care about the shop stuff so much tbh, but the fact they’re barely adding anything worth having to the base out of the thousands of assets is just ..such a slap in the face.

I tried Palia when it was in Beta. I really liked the concept but couldn’t make friends with the user interface sadly, WASD to move and mouse click to select items is what I’m used to on the games I play and Palia wanted to be different. Oh well.
