I know you can cross-faction queue for instances with a full group, but are there any updates to LFR in regards to cross-faction groups?
Nothing announced as of yet so still just full groups.
Please let us cross fraction LFGs, ugh.
Please just lets us opt into cross faction queues. I think the majority of players don’t care what faction they play with, they just want faster queues.
I wouldn’t even notice lol
I think there’s a vocal minority who don’t want queued cross faction play, so just have it be opt in or out, idc which, but let those of us who want quicker queues enjoy quicker queues. People raged when cross faction play first started, but now there’s not really much about it so the outrage will die down from that too if there even is any by the time Blizz hopefully introduces it.
Oh yea, I’m sure in the end it’s exactly what will happen, it’s healthy for the game. Keep factions for lore, but remove barriers for gameplay
Cross-faction stuff is super rushed and incomplete. Have they even fixed guild inviting yet?
Nope, not yet.
What’s wrong with guild inviting? We do it all the time
You have to invite from the same faction as the invitee.
Unless that has changed semi-recently.
Actually in terms of legacy raid instances, I would just like the items to upgrade world drop upgradable gear.
I’ve invited cross faction multiple times in the last few months
Cool, I gave up trying awhile back. Good to know.
You need to be bnet friends or in the same wow community to be able to ginvite cross faction still I believe.
I don’t understand why they’re being so obstinate about this. Accessibility shouldn’t be a bad thing. I get there are a handful of folks who will scream and whine about “muh mersion” or whatever, but those people also probably live in their parents’ basements and have highly questionable hygiene habits… so their opinions really shouldn’t amount to much.
The amount of people I know who have quit playing because of the inconvenience around faction limitations is astounding. I’d have enough friends to fill full groups regularly if Blizzard wasn’t being so stubborn about such a stupid outdated thing.
Nope, just /ginvite name and it works
this.
so what if the five people left who care have to deal with it? give the rest of us the convenience of open xfaction queuing.
I am so inattentive to who I’m playing with in queued content that I thought the groups had been made cross-faction a long time ago and it was only when it came up on the forums like a year or two later and I actually looked at my groups that I even noticed that they weren’t yet.
