Current legit renown level for new faction?

What is the current max level we should be able to attain right now?

I swear I logged off the other day at renown 3, then when i logged back on I went up to renown 6, I finished off the new zone and I’m almost renown 8.

Haven’t played any alts yet.

By any chance are your pets playing the game? There is a belief in our household that when we go to bed the cats are all over the keyboard playing WoW.

I logged in yesterday and it bumped me to renown 5 automagically. I had done all the story the day before but I wasn’t at 5 yet.

if you do everything in every zone and all of the new content, you can make it to level eight in the first day. That’s where I’m at after having done all of the current available achievements and all of the current available content on one character.

The random unexplained jump when I logged on had me thinking I got extra for some reason.
