I think maybe % would be nice, and for start to maybe experiment with a much smaller population size than the last time it was % based, make it 1% instead of 0.5% so there’s more spots to combat r1’s just having a million r1/glad spots.
2400/50 wins is too low when [most] seasons r1 is 3100+. No way there should be a 700 rating difference between Gladiator and rank1.
2700/cut wins in half to 25~ would work also.

There were 154 R1 spots last season. Pikaboo was nervously sitting at spot 153 waiting to be pushed out, and I believe he ended up getting it.
That would make 770 spots last season for 0.5% glad.
Yeah, it’s kind of all relative to how active and long the season is, for better or worse. It could either be top 3,850 players or top 12,200.
Something to bridge the gap would be nice.

was playing my rogue yesterday.
saw a gladiator warrior with glad title and glad mount run up to me.
my first cd was blind, his first cd was trinket. cool. free kidney shot for me.
his second global was fear im pretty sure… which was weird because he then insta broke it… kidneyed him and since he wasted trink he died fast…
meh… im a terrible player myself… im about 1400… but when im outplaying some gladiators it makes me feel like that title just dont mean much anymore.
a a real gladiator would mop the floor with me 100-0 and it would be easy as pie for them.
i also see a lot of glads in random BGs who dont even do good damage. like i saw a gladiator DH use meta as his first button… he didnt even eye beam first to maximize his meta uptime. smh. lots of gladiators today r just zug zugz who abuse busted comps, and win 55% of their 1000 games played.

Terms thrown around by people that either have no cr and are jealous or people with a lot of cr jealous that people don’t really care.
It’s for sure easier to get glad than the past with late season inflation and being able to skirt the 2400 mark for the whole 50 wins but the majority still can’t get it without paying.
As for the story about beating a gladiator in 2s most people aren’t sweating that bracket. and even if they are you can still take an L. I’ve beat tournament players a bunch in 2s. They’re still better than me
