How is the current endgame of TWW doing laps around Dornogal?
There has to be something to do at 80 right? We were promised things to do, but all those things are gearing up or level to 80.
What about once you hit 80 and are geared as much as you can get to?
I bought a 90$ dinosaur and I’m having fun doing AH transaction in Dornogal
Do you mean like full BiS hero/myth gear?
Usually when someone says this they mean “geared as much as their chosen content allows.”
A player who sticks to delves/LFR doesn’t care that there’s N/H/M raid or M+ because they’re not going to do that anyway.
I do all my open world stuff, LFR to steal mog from undergeared plebeians, and 8 delves a week to ensure a decent vault.
Then I do my old world mount hunting. This week I got Ashes of Alar and the Tidal mount from Jaina. Within a two hour period, which was insane.
If I were so inclined, I’d have time set aside for raiding like I used to in the past, but haven’t seriously raided for a few expansions, with the exception of doing normal Amirdrassil on my warrior to get the legendary weapon. But that’s just pugging normal so I don’t count that. Or mythics.
Mythics, delves, raids, old world stuff,
PvP if you want to do end game stuff and get out of Dornogal. Pretty much same as it’s always been for the most part.
I get geared enough to tackle the more difficult legacy raids. Currently working on Nathria since they implemented a bunch of QoL changes and will probably move to Sanctum next. Also want to start pugging the season 2 raid from DF for the warrior tier set.
Then it’s probably not a very good idea for them to complain that there’s nothing to do, if they have no interest in progging on more difficult content. Since that’s what you do in this game…
Pretty sure the standard argument is that there should be more to the game than just climbing the next ladder.
Usually followed by some rose-tinted nostalgia about how it was different in vanilla or whatever.
It’s an easy argument to make. Much harder to actually explain what that means. “Climbing ladders” is the bread-and-butter of persistent online games.
Correct. My ilvl cap is 610 due to the fact that I cannot obtain runed crests. I mean, I can, but it’s either in very small amounts or very time-gated. I imagine I could get to 620 ilvl in a few months. But that’s not realistic. It’s at this point one logs onto an alt that’s still sitting at level 70.
Last I checked they have that too don’t they? Isn’t that what pet battles/collecting, mount farming, xmog farming, professions, player market and all that sorta stuff for?
