Why am I chasing around bees and taking photos for an hour. What is this Blizzard? Enough of this dumb stuff for the campaigns.
Because the world is broken, it cannot support life, the indigenous flora and fauna are all gone.
We are meant to heal the world. To at least have life where it can be.
Thats the lore reason. For game play reasons…time. Even I cannot deny that. All the games systems are about time.
These quests are the embodiment of busy work. It’s terrible. It was cute once. That’s it.

I totally agree for optional side quests. But being part of the main campaign is insane.
Other than it being a requirement for the Meta cheevo, I have no idea if its ‘required’ beyond the initial unlocking of the Eco Succession.
