Please Blizz, I beg. we’re still having the issue of character currency transfers causing a guild roster relog and lag spike. This is really problematic for bigger guilds like mine, as despite all the communication in the world it’s hard to get through to everyone to please not use the currency transfer feature during peak hours
So please, devs. fix pls?

This is an absolute attrocity on behalf of the dev team to have lasted this long. In a game thats supposed to be centered around communities you would make it toxic to even be in the most basic of community.
Hopefully, they know it’s still an issue and now with the anniversary event out can put some more thought into how to fix the problem. As Val notes, large guilds in particular with multiple raid teams and M+ teams running the lag is especially brutal. The admin team has done their best to notify every possible person in guild how to help avoid this but it’s hard to get through to everyone. Could we get the priority on this fix boosted?
As a guild that’s been around for 19 years, regularly runs up against the 1000 character limit from actual former raiders and friends, and pushes Hall of Fame raiding each season, this has been a huge problem for us.
It’s not just an annoyance or quality of life thing, we’ve wiped multiple times during progression to the guild server reset / lag in the middle of a raid encounter. It’s to the point where our newer raiders are considering leaving the guild so they’re not lagging during raid, M+, etc. Which then causes problems with guild accomplishments, Hall of Fame credit, etc.
Please fix as an actual high game play priority!
Edit: I’ll add that after testing it also happens when you transfer currency from a character in the guild to a character that isn’t in the guild. So it’s not even enough to remove an individual character from the guild, you’d have to perfectly communicate to all of your raiders, members, socials, etc. to not do any warbound currency transfers between any of their characters even if they aren’t in your guild. It’s just not a feasible workaround.
Blimey, with that many folks I can only imagine now bad you guys must be getting it. We’re around 100 active members and still sometimes it’s been brutal. We’ve def had the same wipes and bricked keys from it. We’ve been extremely vocal across discord and in game, but there’s only so much you can do. It only takes one person who either just hasn’t been paying attention or “or but I heard if you do this it’s fine”. It’s helped a bit, but it’s just not sustainable.
