What’s up with this currency transfer being lost when you transfer it??? Is this a tax on transferring currency to keep it down?? I don’t understand why this is occurring??
What were you transferring? There are some currencies (honor and previous expansion currencies) which have a percentage loss when transferred, the same way they did through original methods (medal of honor items, BfA supply crates, and other BoA currency items you would buy for alts).
There’s also occasionally a bug which causes currency to disappear on transfer that I have seen reports about, which is unintended.

The only type of tax that this applies to are currencies where you are supposed to farm it on the characters that are using it. Honor being an excellent example of this, where PvP gear should be related to the character’s PvP-performance. Honor being transferable is due to how PvP skills are a transferable skill but one that is still based on performance.
Meaning that the transfer is definitely warranted, but so is the tax. Since you are still supposed to PvP on the character you are supposed to get the currency on.
