so I play on a pvp server which means I cant play ally & horde on the same server, i’m thinking of setting up a 2nd account for that reason. My question is, do I need to buy BFA & also have a active sub to play classic, or can I just get the sub in itself & play classic.
ALSO!!! this will make things easy when I want to do some things in retail on my main account while also avoiding being logged out from classic.
other account needs its own copy of wow, but that can be any version up to and including bfa.

You only need an active sub to play classic that’s all. You don’t need to own BFA nor do you need the full version of the game installed.
That said, are you REALLY willing to sit in two separate 4 hour queues to play with streamers?

its not about “playing” with streamers or anything like that, sure its a streamer server but i’ve mostly played by myself. That aside, its also convenient that way I can play classic while I have retail obligations as well.
But why pick the fullest of full servers if you’re not looking to play with the streamer crowd? They’ve already wrecked the economy and dictate 100% of the wPvP interaction on the server so I’m having a hard time understanding why you wouldn’t choose a server you don’t need to wait in a queue for.
Why not just make a horde alt on another server instead?
