Those of us affected by the bug where we did not get Completed Report. And thus were bugged out of completing Under Suspicioun are now locked out of finishing this event since we are unable to get the Curious Orb quest.
Also unable to acquire A Curious Orb or complete Under Suspicion. At this point it seems like we’d need the latter quest’s progress reset so we can take it again. It’s completely bricked otherwise.

Might be obvious but did you throw out any paper you got from quest NPC during the quest? Also it seems like some interactable item has one player at a time limitation so maybe stick around a few minutes and see if the notes respawned?
If all else, abandon the quest, try restarting WOW with no addons, and pick up the quest. Some addons might be interfering
Restarting it was what broke Under Suspicion for me.
Take another look, they seem to have fixed it. It was there at the start on my alt and at the point in the middle where I broke it on my Druid. Just actually turn it in this time. I think we’ll just have to accept it’s borked and take the win.
I can confirm, at least in some regard, that the bug has been fixed. My issue revolved around the note for under suspicion disappearing and all associated notes due to a full bag, but I went back to the gobbo and the quest was ready to be turned in. Turned it in and I got credit.
