Curbing Griefing: It Needs to Stay Vague

Will they leave 10 keys in 3 hours? And troll people as they leave by pulling mutliple packs of trash?

I mean it’s great to say that only those who leave keys at that rate are getting banned, but we don’t actually know that for a fact because of the vague wording coming from blizz.

guilty!

Took me 2 days to time a 10 stonevault earlier in the season and i had to Leave A LOT of keys b/c of just bad experiences with groups not handling mechanics well. I think I left 6 in a row the day I finally did time it. It happens, I dont want to have to ā€œworryā€ that this is now also grounds for a suspension b/c it will legit make me quit. Just being real with you.

You aren’t qualified to say that it wont be b/c youre not blizzard and them being vague about what specific behavior they’re targeting is just flat out bad customer service (as usual). Along with their stupid already-automated account actioning system they use now.

the current reward system for m+ actively encourages people especially those just farming crests to leave any key that isn’t going to be timed, this on its own will result in a whole lot of people often leaving keys like it or not adding this penalty without addressing why its suddenly become a massive enough issue to warrant a policy change is going to be catastrophic for the m+ scene

Sounds like a fine idea… let’s see, we have 241 total NA realms, each has Alliance and Horde. So minimum we need 482 new GMs in 3 8 hour shifts. So we’ll get 1,446 new employees at Blizz to be on the realms around the clock to help support the issues. $28,920 a day to monitor things. I’m sure Blizz will jump right on paying all these folks $20 an hour to help out.

Like people who spam the forums with topics that already have multiple threads, including a pinned blue post? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And they already said if everyone leaves there is no punishment. Also, most keys are 30+ minutes. So if you leave 1 key every 30 mins this is not an issue. But if you leave 1 key every 15 minutes and cause problems for others on the way out, this is an issue.

Oh you mean like

  • Solutions for M+
  • Please fix BM monks
  • WW monks need attention
  • Flecycle battle pet thing is too hard
  • Remove M+ timers
  • Nerf Delves

and my personal favorite…

  • Off topic spam that belongs in off topic but the OP put it here cause GD gets more traffic.

I’ll mod at least 20 of them for 8$ an hour.

It’s not like you need a mod every single second of the day.

Point being, you don’t need as many or to pay them as much as you think. This isn’t a general hospital.

But, what about around the clock, personalized customer service that people will demand? You seem to forget, what we find logical, someone else will accuse Blizz of being too cheap and not caring.

I think you are over logicing tbh. Stuff in the real world isn’t even that disciplined. There are literally 2 people working at your favorite fast food joint past 11pm and their turn over rate is like 600%.

Business moves can be devoid of logic lol.

Much like most of this forum. If we are honest, if Blizz said they were hiring 5 new talented people to help solve M+ and all its issues, 20 new threads would pop up asking why they didn’t hire 20 people especially after all that Brutosaur and token profit from last month.
