Cube crawl wth

I’m still trying to imagine Ion doing this. What a great and supportive work place. I’d hate to be a female working there.

I’d hate to work there regardless of my gender. Imagine having to slink down in shame in your chair while some of your co-workers are acting like that.

it explains why this expansion felt so dry i guess…

i’m still shocked about the plug thing… :eyes:

Ehlissa. I apologize for not making that clear. I’d hate for anyone to have to work there.

Oh no I didn’t think you were being one sided about it with your post. I was just expanding on it is all.

I’d be fired or let go. The frat boys would say how tough they are and how much they want to kick my butt for standing up to them… except they never would. I’m not saying I can fight but only once (outside of school) has a bully actually made good on the threat and kicked my butt.

More to reality of I didn’t get fired I’d quit. Who would want to work on a place like that.

Well I mean it’s really the same thing as the females that stayed as long as they did while being harassed. It was an opportunity, a dream job, whatever the case. It’s really hard for a person to give all that up obviously given the strength and perseverance these people displayed in putting up with it for as long as they did.

It’s easy being outside looking in to try to say “well they put up with that behavior” but there’s just so many factors we can’t understand not being in their shoes.

Maybe a dumb question, but can someone explain what a cube crawl is? Did the people literally crawl around their workplace??

Kinda like a pub crawl but with cubicles.

It’s one thing to have fun at work, but it stops being fun when it starts hurting others. It doesn’t really specify if this is happening during the work hours? Like personally, I can’t even fathom getting drunk at work even off hours AT WORK lol it doesn’t make sense. Go home and drink. Blizz isn’t holding itself to very high standards by letting it happen. But yeah. The workplace is basically the last place I’d want to be if I didn’t have to be there lol.

Thinking about it like that, this was most likely during work hours. Why else would women be there.

No wonder this game is a little :poop:

Ok, maybe another dumb question… what’s a pub crawl??

Its the same as a pub crawl, where parties move from one pub to another sampling the different fares and environments. It’s an analogy in this case, showing how the accused would move from one cube to another harassing employees.

Ah, I understand now, thank you. Damn, that’s terrible.

i don’t think i’d need to even do that much, i read that if you’re not the “partying type” you’re treated as an outcast there. so i’d probably get to work in peace while everyone ignores my existence

Initially that was how I thought I would react. I do this at my work all the time. I get my best work done and more efficiently when i ignore the shenanigans. But how long could I ignore the accusations in this filing though is the question.

And there are the other victims of this case: those that were not directly party to the abuse but had to sit in silence and now have to possibly live with the guilt of not standing up and saying something then.

yeah i saw our old friend Ythisens was one of them, he posted on tweeter about it, having known at least some of what was going on. hope none of those folks suffer too badly from all of this, if they’re still with the company. i imagine if they had better job opportunities they would have taken them a long time ago

I have a female friend that has worked there for a while but I don’t want to ask her cause I am sure she is sick getting bombarded with questions about it. I haven’t seen her in years but I hope she is doing okay though and wasn’t harassed. This type of behavior male or female would make anyone feel uneasy in that environment.

Boy, I sure wish this was the case.

What I don’t get is just a few months or so ago we got told they pay horribly and they have basically reward points for bonuses and now we hear they’re allowed to drink heavily on the job.
