Whatever you think you’ve improved with nameplates by trying to replicate Plater w/o actually replicating Plater, these changes are actually complete dog s***. Been using the defaults (w/ blocky bars) prior to this for years. Infinitely better than whatever you’re trying to achieve with the current iteration. Undo the changes and properly PTR test literally anything else. These are unplayably bad.

I’m having to use Platynator addon so I can remain at least slightly sane playing this game. Might work for you too.

dog s*** is dog s*** and I’m done w/ playing around w/ these clowns. Do better or just quit. 20 years deep on funneling money to these monkeys, it can’t just continue to be a question of “do they even play this game?” or “do they even try this junk before it goes to live?”
If I get a ban over this, it just speaks to the continued incompetence. Enough is enough. Accountability matters.

Anyone who has the power to take in this feedback and act on it is asleep right now. They’re just going to wake up in the morning to not knowing this post ever existed because a mod deleted it. Just saying.
$20 CAD x 12 months x 20 years = $4800. If close to 5 thousand dollars doesn’t buy me a couple masked profanities, I think these moderators/devs are a little softer than baby s***. Not their fault the devs drop the ball, but they can at least admit when the company they’re working for is selling a lemon.

This is a very good add-on especially if you’re not used to using add-ons because it’s super easy to set up.
I prefer plater but that’s just me

I was using Blizz’s default nameplates since I first took up M+ in Shadowlands. I don’t need an addon. I need them to not make their own product worse by trying to replicate something their devs literally have the code for in their /Addons folder. Another continued case of them thinking they know better than the players they try to undermine. #getoutofyourownway
Yep! Once I figured out how to find and import a profile I liked it has made things a lot better, with nameplates anyway.. lol
