So was testing some dps on dummies for m+.
Using CStrikes and art of war seems like the proc chances as waaaay more than normal.
I switch to Templar strikes and the proc chance felt normal

You means CSAA? The one that transforms your CS into auto-attacks?
Art of War procs from AA, so you won’t see it proc on Templar Strike.
When you spec into CSAA, your CS replaces the AA and keeps the effects of other talents that affects CS such as Blessed champion which makes them hit to nearby targets.
Those hits counts for Art of war since CS is your AA.
Which means you’ll get MUCH more AoW proc on AoE/cleave.
Yes.
But with CStrikes it procs a ton more compared to normal white hits of you’re using Templar stikes
Vanilla CS and Templar Strike both don’t interact with autos so it’s unlikely there would be a difference.
Like I said, AoW doesn’t trigger from CS or Templar Strike.
The only thing with CS that affect AoW is CSAA.
You might have had a lucky streak of AA crit which increase the chance of a proc but that’s it.
Na was using Cstrikes and the proc rate was bonkers and it would not stop.
Then I switch to regular AA and the proc normalized
Ok but that’s what I’m saying.
Cstrikes cleaves through Blessed champions, so it’s like 5 AA for 1 when there’s multiple mobs.
That’s why it procs, its not a bug.
At leas not that we know of, it’s been working like this since it was implemented
Templar strikes are 2 hits per 10s
CAA is 5 autos every 10s
Also if you cleave 5 enemies it’s 20% x 5 , 5 times every 10s
The cleave counts for aow???
I didn’t know that.
Has it always functioned with aow like that in DF?
