Perish the thought! Gizzards are awesome! Lots of flavor and amazing texture.
Did get some cool photos of clouds over the ocean on way down to Miami
Now back to waiting for TSA again.
Made it to Cancun, checked in, fed, unpacked, and crashing hard.
So beyond tired.
Will see if I can grab some good pics of sunrise over ocean in morning before our day starts.
I usually cook and mince them, then give them to the fur-babies.
Turkey giblets, that is. Only time I see them is prepping the Thanksgiving meal.
Got the brilliant idea of i am going to leave early today. I have putnin a severe abundance of houra and yeah they cam survive.
About 10 minutes befoee i plan to leave state shows up. I am the acting department head until tomorrow.
Nope cant leave. Ugh
The prez of Russia came? I always thought you were a good cook but wow.
Just kidding. Good luck on your walk through.
They not bothering my department (knocks on wood) at least currently, and i am getting the paperwork i was trying to leave for the new boss done lol.
I know i should not leave work but frankly i have to spend so much time in the kitchen i dont really have time
I had to redo invoices from last week because while i did them properly, every single one i coded to food, as opposed to supplies, nursing, etc.
Easy fix for a mistake that should have never happened.
New boss i thot they promoted u to chief monkey.
Nope. Myself and other supervisor were going to hold down fort while boss lady was out on leave. The day after boss lady put in for fmla, they listed her job on indeed. THEN we had a meeting to figure out roles in the interim. Then they hired somebody. I have pretty much been doing 2 jobs for 2 weeks, without help, however apparently not good enough to just take the reigns.
Kind of frustrating honestly. I am close to 230 hours in the last 3 and a half weeks of work.
It really just does not feel like they appreciate you, and what’s more, it feels like you’ve been holding up the roof and so they’re just expecting that from you permanently.
Kinda spot on honestly. I have feelers out. I will not make a lateral move, however. I will only.leave if an opportunity presents itself and it is an advancement.
In the meantime, i have almost $1400 in my company education fund i plan on utilizing.
That’s awesome. The way I’ve seen thing through your eyes, they need you more than you need them.
And people wonder why we advise againsts a charge back.
Having a great time “Up North.” After getting some rain when I first hit Michigan, it’s been clear and beautiful, and should continue through the rest of the week. I guess I had to leave Missouri to allow my area to get rain; an inch has fallen in the last eight hours down there. Hurray!
Today is help around the house day, I think. Mom has some gutters that need cleaning, and there’s a dead limb in her black walnut tree that needs to come down. So I get to play with ladders and saws. Yippee.
Ah yes, the great ‘up north.’ We close and start our move in 24 days, but who’s counting… we are!!!
We’re coming soon. House is semi-packed. I’ve tossed over 400# of old textbooks. It’s getting serious. Now we wait on the sellers date… 24 days (did I mention that ?)!
Poctz, have a place scouted out yet for your move?
You are moving here at the best possible time of year. It’s warm but the air has a hint of fall. Maybe it’s the angle of the sun giving it that feel. Soon the apples will be ripe. You know what that means. Cider and donuts.
There are many things I desperately miss from Michigan, but that’s a big one. Nowhere I’ve been gives fresh cider and fresh donuts.
No Krispy Kreme? I’d rather have a nice fresh apple fritter.
Krispy Kreme ain’t a cider mill though.
