i’m sure most of you here have had days at work where you’ve had to do stuff that isn’t part of your job description but i just had the weirdest thing i’ve been asked by my manager…
i work in a hotel and my manager does not allow ummmm “lady’s of the night” to stay here. Today she asked me to go through a website that advertises those “services” so we can blacklist a certain guest… so i got to spend 2 hrs going through questionable pics to find her… lmao that’s been my day, how is everyone else doing today?

Not quite as odd as yours. Back in my fast food days, I worked next to a motel that had its fair share of those types of customers. (At least) One was a frequent customer of ours; nice enough person, always smiling, but always with someone new.
My current employer is doing a Disaster Recovery test this week. It’s a second round of tests, since they couldn’t get everything up and running last time; I ended up working an extra five hours on my Saturday rotation before everyone kind of gave up. Not fun at all. But this time seems to be working a little better. At least, the systems I use seem to be working. Fortunately they didn’t switch the live systems over to the DR system. That would have been … bad.

Nice. I did the Pacqui One-Chip Challenge with a couple friends at work. I struck a bargain with a younger co-worker: If she completed the challenge, I’d let her dye my hair green (her choice; apparently I have the skin tone to pull it off 
). Nobody was more surprised than me when she actually did it!
