Professor drops a trinket, not a pet as far as I know. You can buy the pet at the vendor though.
I got 5 bags, geared 4 chars totally, and have one char who despite over 16 hours of farming can’t get rings, or the trinket. GRRRR.
Great event though for alts.
Now, to clean out the bank on my main, finish house chores, shower, make chili, and read more about the new SL systems.
MAYBE try one more time for rings on my warlock? Maybe?

When I did the launch test in Beta two weeks ago there wasn’t any barrier. It didn’t even force dismounts.
I stopped doing the beta after trying the new starter zone. I’ve done a bunch of beta’s and didn’t want to spoil the start for me this time.
