Funny that you mentioned that; Read Stephen Hawking’s last paper before he passed away:

Here’s what a 2013 Telsa car owner did when he was told his model would require a new battery and the cost would be 20,000 Euros or about $22,600 Dollars (Note: Only 130,000 miles on the car)"

Be sure to watch the video, It’s pretty cool…
I heard about that. He bought it used and the whole battery pack died after the warranty and he put 900 some miles on it.
It’s an unfortunate part of that old design. Can’t replace part of the battery pack.
Heading out in the morning to spend time in western Michigan with a couple of friends. I hope the snow is well plowed through Wisconsin and Illinois by the time I come through.
Since I’ll be out of contact until next week…
Happy New Year!1!
And of course… GO ! Restore the roar!

And to you as well Aik.
Just watched matrix bit of a slow burn to start but it picked up pace No way home was better but were talking apples and bananas. Was it better then the original 3 thats hard to say but it was a good watch.
All other manufacturers when there is a design flaw like this they recall them and replace the design flaw. I’ve got a 2010 GT Mustang loaded and was issued a recall for a part on it at no cost to plus they are giving me a loaner vehicle to drive while the part is being replaced.
You would think that Elon Musk would have replaced the battery for this guy at least for just the cost of the part being there was only 130,000 miles on it but Elon Musk is just too greedy.
Look at the Satellites he’s putting up in the way of Space station paths risking their lives by them having to take evasive measures to avoid hitting them. and I read reports that he plans to put up 900 more up there. Hard for these Space stations to avoid things put in their line of path when they’re traveling 17500 MPH / 28163.52 KPH
How Does The ISS Travel Around The Earth? (forbes.com)
Here’s where you can track where it is at in the sky as it travels around the Earth every 90 minutes or 18 times a day:

The satellites he is putting up are about 200 miles closer to the earth than the ISS. As Merdrah said in his post, the warranty was already expired on that car. Maybe the guy should have spoken to one of those people that keep calling about “your cars extended warranty”…lol
Hey Leilleath that was a bit harsh dont you think about the brontosaur drop.
He put one right in the path last year that China’s Space Station had to avoid.

There’s too much stuff up above us, Sooner or later a Space Station is going to hit something with everyone from every country putting stuff up there and not informing the other.
LMAO; Yeah tell me about it, I’m just glad my cable service alerts me for Spam Callers
But seriously My 2010 GT Mustang that is 12 years old (Purchased it in August 2009) has no warranty on it at all, no extended warranty, nothing but it being a design flaw Ford Motor Company is recalling it and repairing it at no cost to me plus they are giving me a loaner car to drive while mine it is getting repaired. No reason why Telsa could have done the same for this guy.
I’ve been doing the 12 mounts of Christmas from Wowhead. So far I got the cradle. Strange thing though. After being on Wowhead for a bit, I lost all my store transmogs. It’s probably just a coincidence. I have never had a problem with the mogs before. Maybe I was just lucky.
Got a call this morning from other kitchen supervisor. Her mom is head of the department. Her mom has not been feeling well, went to urgent care. Urgent care in turn sent her to hospital, she was having a heart attack and was rushed into surgury.
My heart breaks for her i love this woman.
On anorher note doing some follow up with staff the administrator had called to my attention she called me into her office. Asked about boss lady then asked if i had ever considered becoming a dietary manager. She thinks i would be really good at it. We talked for like 20 minutes and she said she was going to look into options wirh corpoate about school etc. If i was ok with that.
Ummm yeah i am haha.
Made my day. Also i smell like chicken and seasoning and it is making me super hingry. Residents deatroyed it.
My late mother who had diabetes and was in late stage 3 close to 4 kidney failure was in a rehabilitation/nursing facility in rehab and after a week of being there I was visiting her at suppertime and noticed that her menu ticket on her tray said sweet tea so I asked Mom if I could taste it and sure enough it had sugar in it.
I then went to the dietician’s office and there was a young lady in her early 20’s that was the dietician for the entire facility close to 100 beds in which about half of the beds were rehab patients that only stayed for about 2 weeks or so then discharged and another would take their bed as they were discharged from the hospital. This was too much for just one person to take on with people coming and going all the time so I went straight to the administrator and registered a complaint; The administrator tried to tell me that they got the diet instructions from the hospital and I told him I know what kind of diet they had her on and it was a diabetic diet, Man I was really irritated.
About 2 years before that incident my Mother had quadruple by-pass surgery and while I was there they were passing out the medications and my Mother noticed a blue pill in with her medication so she asked what it was and the man said this is your Coumadin and my Mother’s reply in a stern voice was: “I don’t take Coumadin blood thinner I just had bypass surgery” I heard some working there talking to each other saying that “We’re going to hear about this”.
The next day I called the head of the department to complain and alert her of their error and her reply to me was: "I’m sorry but I can’t say we don’t make mistakes Mr. H______.
I immediately called my Mother’s surgeon and heard they fired some over that. All she would have had to say to me was I’m so sorry and will look into this but her attitude got her own self fired.
You would be amazed to know how easy it is to juggle 120 patients and know what they like and dislike.
There is actually a very good chance it came FROM the hospital that way. There is also another chance your mother wanted it and didn’t want to admit it to you as well. The sweet tea that is. I see that quite a bit with residents and family members.
At the end of the day it is their right to have it however they want. All we can do is educate
I failed to mention in this case it wasn’t that way it was the rehab facility’s fault and was in her chart wrong at the rehab, What the hospital sent over was for a diabetic diet. It was the same with the Coumadin, The hospital sent it over correctly but the rehab facility got the drugs from another patient mixed up with my mothers.
You are correct in saying it should be easy for one person to monitor 120 residents in a nursing home but when 50 are coming and going every week or two I can see where this could happen, The administrator I talked to changed something in the way the dietician was handling the rehab patients to try to correct it for the future and was VERY apologetic to me.
Heck during this same stay my mother also called me at home because she was sliding out of the bed but no one was answering the call button at the facility luckily I had the administrators number and he went down to my mothers room himself and assisted her. I got there shortly after and spoke to the administrator and he was VERY apologetic again for what happened. I know not all facilities are not like this one, This facility has had numerous complaints against them and from what I saw it appeared to be a short staffing problem, but that’s for the facility to correct, Here lately I haven’t seen anything negative in the paper about the facility.
I could tell you of some more from another facility in another city when I was the care giver for my father that was bad too and it was an upper class type but I won’t get into the details of that one, it was worse than my mothers.
I know there are good and bad facilities out there from experience.
Yay i did my part booster is done and over with.
FYI book of bobba fett is out.
TT here, yes I switched posting characters again…
Watched “The Book of Bobo Fett” last night. Quite impressed. Not gonna go into details, you’ll have to watch it yourselves.
