My gosh, when you talk about work, I get the impression you are my split personality.
Since our new manager has started, it’s hard to motivate myself to go in (I’m supposed to clock in in five minutes, it’s a ten-minutes drive, and I still need to brush my teeth and tie my shoes). After the stories I heard about yesterday’s shift, I think it might be time for another call to the Director of Operations. This new GM just can’t handle the stress. He hid in his car in the back parking lot during the dinner rush, the three busiest hours of the day. He was apparently screaming about firing the entire store. He’s cheating drivers out of their full mileage reimbursement. He can’t place a food order to save his life, and when he puts it away, he doesn’t rotate stock or mark expiration dates according to company policy. He’s also fine serving expired product to customers, because food loss comes directly out of his bonus plan.
He depends on me to tell him what to order as far as dry goods, then ‘tweaks’ my list. I do 80% of the weekly full inventory, then he runs around double-checking my counts because any shortage is obviously because I can’t count and not because he overtops every pizza he makes.
Sorry, didn’t mean to go off on a rant. Suppose I should go brush my teeth, tie my shoes and head out. I’ll only be a half hour late by the time I get there, but hopefully he’ll be gone by then, and I won’t have to deal with any of his shenanigans tonight.

Sounds like some that is not in my job description needs to come out of your mouth to him. People rhst don’t appreciate what you do are doomed to bad workers.
When I got here my boss said thank you for coming in and let me know of the changes. We were done completely on our side, lights out, st 530. I am off at 7. So j came tj the main kitchen to help.
Now u am sitting here in the office with my boss goofing off. She doesn’t care that I am riding the clock. Because she knows I earned it.

someone (wasn’t darth, and i can’t remember who. >.<) pointed out that its over 80GB of space, and digital copies can take up a LOT of space i find. .-.

Reminds me of my GM at the grocery store arguing with our amazing Grocery manager about ordering for the rush.
We were the Barrens for new store managers, and too often they had more arrogance than intelligence.
Well makes sense realy flying starts at 25 in SL.

We gave the kids their Easter jammies tonight. Early, but it’s freakin cold here tonight. Bug’s first to grab his. I hear him say… “hmmmm. They’re a bit tight. But I can wear them for tonight” and I turn to see him with the sleeves half up his forearms and the legs stopping mid calf.
I told him, no baby, you can’t wear those. He’s on the lounge, crying because there’s nothing Bluey in above a size 6. I’m almost in tears myself.
And then Dauth says… “Hey kiddo, those are Bubble’s”
We’d got a size 3 and a size 6, and he’s gone and squeezed himself into the size 3.
