Or the smell of dust after rain …
So if we’re losing Neva…does that mean Lylirra is going to come back to the Diablo community?
Wishful thinking, I know.
Parently shes gone to wizards of the coast D&D.
Feeling loads better then i was 2 weeks ago still coughing so that means no work no dr unless i can get tested which means calling a 3rd hopefully now that they opened a 2nd testing clinic i will have better odds.
Well, the technical term is actually Petrichor
But in other news, it is Tuesday somewhere right? And that means Taco’s for dinner baby.
Man I feel for you. We are lucky enough that if you are willing to pay, we have a place here in town that has plenty of tests. You register and pay online, pull up, a worker comes out and swabs your cheek, and you drive off. They report the results to health det, CDC, and of course you haha.
Not in alberta has to be a referal or nothing and still wont test me after 4 calls say there not refusing just hands are tied.
Oh wow man I feel for you. Now that you mention that, when I heard this on the news this morning, they did stress that there was no doctor recommendation needed, and they speculated on perhaps that was why it did cost $250 for the test out of pocket
250 is cheap id have paid that.
I want to add something to your topic but Vrak will knock me for it.
I will have to leave it at that.
Welcome to hell. Cabin fever ain’t a fictional horror movie anymore. Our community now reminds of a refugee camp. Right now it looks like an extended Hurricane party, but eventually you run out of TP, tylenol, and all the beer has been made into sanitizer.
Spent the evening with dad, we had tomato soup with spam salad sandwiches. We watched The Aeronaughts on prime. It was good to just chill and spend some time together.
Got labs tomorrow, and I already know my A1C is gonna be high.
Gonna try to get some cleaning up tomorrow, planning making Buffalo Chicken Legs for dinner
We are games we dont know what cabin fever is.
Yeah mowing my yard is kinda of my own personal hell, not gonna lie. I have to wait until the dew on the grass dries. By then it is so hot and humid it is miserable to do. So it is oddly accurate.
In other news everyone, Hasbro just released all the original GI Joe cartoons on YouTube for free. Man, I feel I am going to get with a HUGE childhood nostalgia wave as that was pretty much my favorite childhood cartoon growing up.
Would you like our snow were getting about 7 inches of snow over the next 2 days.
feel free to send some our way. it may convince some of these nutters to stay home and respect the “social distancing” rule being enforced. .-.
on a side note, i read about how rare this “Stringfish” in Animal Crossing was to catch, and how after tomorrow, it won’t be available to fish up in the northern hemisphere until Dec. someone on gamefaqs gave me a spare ladder, so i decided to try my luck with the river on the cliffs. (which is where you’re suppose to catch them)
snagged it on the first attempt. as it stands, i’ve caught everything that’s going away after tomorrow for the season(s)…though that’s just for fish. bugs is another story altogether, but hopefully someone will get a guide up for them too.
for now, i’m gonna call it a night. got a bit of a headache coming on and i think i need the sleep regardless. =_=
After our grocery truck is unloaded, sure. As it stands, no outside vendors allowed in the building. So it means our driver gets to unload outside our back door tomorrow morning, while it is raining, and I get to bring everything in.
If it is our regular driver, what will most likely happen is he will let me use his hand truck. He will load it up and I will bring it in, drop the stuff in the appropriate place and head on back out for him to place the next load. Either way, I am NOT looking forward to it.
However, as this is putting a ton of work on our maintenance man as well and we were having a conversation today…if all the precautions and steps we are taking saves even one life, or helps prevent one resident from getting sick, the entire mess and headache will have been more than worth it. Easily.
Hmm, so no quarantine for any items coming in to the nursing home?
The one my daughter works at (she is a nurse) has every single item coming into the nursing home sit in a quarantined trailer for minimum 24 hours. They even rented refrigerated trailers to store the perishables.
Hmmm interesting. No the actual items are not quarantined as they will be removed from their packaging as part of putting the order away. We pretty much keep nothing in boxes, excluding overstock of paper supplies such as paper plates etc, which we have an abundance of as we are using paper for all meals, and chemicals, which have their own storage closet completely removed from everything.
Edit: Come to think of it, our contract is so large with our distributor, and our order guide is very specific, as in our corporate office restricts access to what we can order, it would not surprise me to learn that everything we have access to has been through a quarantine at the distribution warehouse. It really would not. We have A LOT of purchasing power with this particular hub as it services over 50 homes for us. Our order is typically 4000 to 5000 a week and we are about average size for their homes. So probably a good 200,000 to 300,000 in business a week from us alone?
I just noticed that Pav got HDL back up.
