Just got the notification to Shelter in Place til the 3rd. Gonna go stir crazy by then.
I just uninstalled Doom Eternal and requested a refund from Steam.
I can’t play like a teenager anymore. I do not have the time to commit to training myself back to that level.
Pity u coulndt give it to me id have taken it lol.
/burp
i haven’t played a Doom game, since the floppy disk version for the PC…and that was eons ago.
also woke up just after 4 this morning. =_= i may end up crashing before very long…kinda wanna get some work done on my DK first, but i may opt to get an extra hour (or two) of sleep, put a pot of coffeh on, THEN see what i can do…cause i’d much rather be at a slightly higher level, before i work on professions, just i don’t get hampered down, by nosey mobs.
edit: yup. i’m past the point of being tired. just wasted over 4k on bandages, only to realize, they have a level requirement of lvl 101, and my DK is only lvl 64. ;-;
Man dragging at work today. Though good news freezer is already done. I am hoping dry goods is only a few hours and fridge perhaps 45 minutes? Call it a day go home and take a nap and recharge.
Email says my refund was granted. Good.
Hugs another Gnome
It’s a Centaurless Vrak!
Posting between OW matches again?
This truck is kicki g me in the booty.
The problem is our stock room is attached tk a heater in a very large room. It takes a long time for that large room to warm. But our stock room is off the dish room where the water is 140. Our stock room gets hot. Fast. Making headaay though. Then j tkk the fridge. The blissful cool fridge.
Well, shopping was interesting. No paper products as usual. No cleaning supplies. Plenty of milk, no eggs. No chicken again and no frozen food. They had plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. Things are getting real ugly now.
things are gonna get worse here, if people continue to ignore the social distancing rule. though a lot of stores are changing hours and allowing seniors, those with weak health or disabilities to shop in an empty store within the first hour of opening.
and a lot of people are saying the gov should close down all stores on Sunday, to give staff a day to rest, recuperate and restock their shelves. hopefully our…gov (and i use that term entirely wrongly, but politely as i don’t want any unnecessary strikes against me.) will see this too, and implement this. .-.
Things are very quiet in downtown. It’s like a holiday on a Sunday. It’s eerie not to see planes heading to the airport. On a very clear day, I can usually see them pushing tin for about 50-60 miles into Wisconsin from my view. It reminds me of no planes back during 9/11.
We managed to get some TP today at the Target downtown. There were still a couple more packages on the shelves (just after 8am local time, we waited until after the first hour to honor those in more need). Plenty of fresh food (for Target), canned goods and frozen products were available. The pop (or soda, depending on your part of the world) wall was well stocked. We picked up some Coke Zero for mixing with the Captain (THAT we did store up on ). KIM, we’ve been shut down for a week now. Things are starting to slowly reappear. This is a good sign (whether you believe it or not). It might be that many downtowners who have cabins or second homes out-state have gone there. But Wisconsin has beaten our state on the shut down.
I’ve friends in MI, as you may know. One of my idiot friends keeps sending ‘updates’ on his snow mobile escapades. He wants everyone to come party with him up in Paradise. Some people just don’t understand what ‘shelter-in-place’ means.
Everyone, stay safe. Keep your distance (really never thought I’d say that).
Most importantly, say “Thank You” to everyone you see helping to service your day.
Happy Monday!
Yeah, that was us just before March break. It was starting to get back to normal (with the exception of TP) and then yesterday the government ordered all non-essential businesses to close. So once again, for the second time in about a week, people lost their minds.
Then this morning they released the list of “essential” services. Turns out if you have a pulse and work in just about any industry…you’re now essential. So basically, everyone freaked out and absolutely nothing changed.
That’s not a bad idea at all!
I’d third that idea
Went to the grocery store yesterday to pick up a couple things and for my semi-regular ‘state-of-the-world-based-on-the-pasta-and-paper-aisles’. According to the paper aisle, these are still the endtimes. According to the pasta aisle, Minnesota isn’t keen on tri-color penne or tri-color rotini. I guess the locals prefer their pasta to be pasta-colored.
While I was gathering my supplies, I had a nose hair tickling my nostril. I resisted the urge, but I couldn’t not address it. I’ve never in my life been so self-conscious about rubbing my nose.
i did manage to crawl back into bed, and slept till 20 to 10. made my coffeh, started watching DontRachQuit on teh Twitch. (she was streaming Animal Crossing)
hoping to have enough funds to pick up a copy on Fri, cause this “social distancing” thing is starting to wear, even on me and i don’t really like socializing all that much. .-.
And the conservatives. Both groups are saying that ____ industry is essential.
The police in Nova Scotia have started handing out warnings for social-distancing as per the State of Emergency guidelines. They want to educate before starting to hand out $1000 fines.

this hurt my head more than it should have. >.<
And yet somehow, airlines are an essential business and my brother is off to NY today because that’s where his first flight leaves from. (Lives in Chicago, flies out of NY, Illinois is on lockdown and NY is a massive mess of outbreak.) My sister-in-law is stressed hardcore.
Your paper aisle and pasta aisle must be in cahoots with the ones here. Except it’s tri color bowties instead.
Alas, another week of transporting weekly cache items to the scrapper. One day I’ll start getting something good out of them, again.
