I’ve been volunteering at my kids school recently. I’m helping out in a grade 1 class, so they’re like 6-7 years old. This one boy, who I couldn’t get to focus on the work at hand, suddenly said he was tired. I asked if it was up late and he said “YES! I got to watch Star Wars!!!” The best was the next part, “Have you heard of it before?”

Haha! When I told him I was very familiar with it, he was so excited. Finally, something for him to focus on, even if it wasn’t his actual work

One of my all time favorite classics would have to be Goonies! Loved that movie growing up.

Looking forward to some beef stroganoff tonight. Since moving in with my brother, he’s been eating a bit of what I cook most nights - so it’s his turn to cook and mine to eat.

At least he’s recovered well from the gall bladder removal, though today was his first day back to the office (riding a motorcycle, no less). Hopefully no negative repercussions.
