Is it even possible to remove the gems from the crystallic sockets? I tried the item from 9.1 but that does nothing and you can’t socket over the top of it.
EDIT: For anyone wondering, dump the item in void storage, that still works.

I haven’t had any problems dropping in new crystallized gems.
I did, it wouldn’t let me override the old one. The only way I could get around it was to drop it in the void storage to force remove it.
