Is this quest for real? Ive been to all the areas on the maps and 1-2 spawn per area and they dont always drop the quest item.
Edit: excellent news, look up crystalpine snuffler on wowhead to find better spawn spots than the marked areas

This has long been a thing, those blue blobs are at best a suggestion for a lot of quests.
That said these weekly profession quests are intended to be “harder”, or at least, more time consuming, than a normal quest, because you have a whole week to do it and the reward is quite valuable.
At least make it hard then? Running around waiting for 4 mobs to spawn that gets 2shot by other players isn’t fun nor hard, just time consuming.
The problem is that the “blue blob” as you call it only shows that one area with 4 mobs with a long respawn. There were no other blue blobs on my map. The quest needs to be fixed. Or the map marking does at least.
