Has anyone noticed a change in battling Crysa? The strategy with 2 nexus whelplings doesn’t seem safe for leveling pets now. The pet I was trying to level was Pierre at level 23 with two nexus whelplings at level 25. Following Xu-Fu guide. Bad luck? Got it done on the second try, but it just doesn’t feel as safe for some reason.
I use the same strategy and I haven’t noticed anything different over the last week or so. I have an alt parked there who is at twenty four attempts according to Rarity. Do you use the script? If not, perhaps you fat-fingered a step?
You could always try one of the other line-ups if you have the pets.

Same strategy still working for me every day.
If my first whelpling does not kill the first bird with the first mana surge (giving it the dragonkin racial to one shot the second bird), it can be an iffy outcome, but that doesnt happen too terribly often. Usually my second whelpling can clean up okay.

I think something has changed as well. I had always used an Emerald Proto Whelp to lead off, followed by a leveling pet and finishing with a Azure Whelping. It seemed that Emerald’s Breath attack was not getting the job done, and my team started failing. I switched Emerald out for a Bronze Whelping and I have been having fewer fails. Maybe it was just rng, but the Emerald, level, Azure never used to fail.
