Cryptids League in 8.2 WM ON

Every man for himself has been nerfed for two expansions which is another reason population shifted. That and the dwarf changes. People shift with the wind too much.

And yes, the average joe player is too blame because too many people follow these streamers and their guilds to whatever faction is dominating.

And my guild exists because people want a community and people to do stuff with. We get it though, nothing we do can ever be positive.

I don’t care what your reasons are for hating me or my organization. You live in your faction bubble.

Anyone interested in learning more about our community, check out our Hashtags #AnduinsKnights #CryptidsLeague on twitter.

We host events like transmog competitions and 1v1 tournaments as well as working with other Alliance communities and guilds for other events.

Common misconception we always roll w/ 40+. We indulge in small and mid scale just like the next guy.

Except in Oceania they stayed Alliance.

And in time it will swing the other way.

People only see you in pvp, which for your enemies is hardly going to be “positive”, but you never see any threads in here saying what you do is positive.

I don’t hate you or your organsation, i just read the forums and and see the general consensus.

Ive played Horde since Vanilla. But im at least open minded enough to see through the faction crap and know most of this balancing/ sharding issues is caused by Blizzard not the person at the keyboard.

Not sure if trolling?

Alliance whined so hard in BfA that they literally changed the game around your unwillingness to engage in World PvP. You whined fundamental changes into the game.

Pretty impressive that the faction that ‘fights about it’ simultaneously did NOT fighting about it on such a massive enough scale that adjustments to one of the expansions biggest features needed to be made.

It swung toward Alliance for half an expansion. It’s been Horde for two expansions now. There’s every indication that when racials favor Alliance, Blizzard considers it a mistake and fixes it promptly, but when they favor Horde, Blizzard thinks that’s fine.

You have a legitimate gripe for Oceanic, but when you try to address issues for all of North America, your arguments end up just sounding misinformed.

Kid, I haven’t left warmode since the first day it was available. My guild is only a fraction of the alliance and we can’t be everywhere at once.

The changes were made because the horde population in warmode dwarfed the alliance one. Literally we could shard hop nightly and farm horde raid after horde raid. Horde are like cockroaches, and there’s never a shortage of you to exterminate.

Horde are to blame for the changes made. Period. The end.

Adorable.

It’s as simple as this:

There are just as many Alliance players as there are Horde. <–Fact

The ‘cream of the crop’ that transferred back in the day make up a practically non-existent minority of the population, leaving you with just about equal numbers of equally skilled/geared players on both sides. <-Fact

Alliance, collectively, turned off War Mode because… reasons… <-FACT

As a result of this you were left with a Horde population that “dwarfed the Alliance one”. These “changes” were made to try to literally pay Alliance players to sack-up and participate.

You know… running for cover at the merest sign of conflict… Only appearing when the proper incentives are given, then going right back into hiding… Alliance are starting to sound awfully similar to these cockroaches you mentioned.

I agree with you though. Horde are responsible for these changes. We tore your faction apart so hard, for so long, that your team straight up left the field. These changes were put in to try and get you guys to play ball again. What’s it like playing the team that needs to be payed to participate?

Would love some proof of that “fact”

I mean, you can go with the mostly accurate RealmPop numbers, or go by Blizzard’s own word of mouth when they said the the factions are “mostly balanced” and that they would be doing something about it if it were that far off center. The last one was one of the last Q&As that they had.

Last time I checked it was something on the order of 53/47, or there abouts. That’s about as balanced as you’re going to get when it comes to a game with no hard caps on team size.

It’s ALSO worth keeping in mind that, when looking at these two populations, Horde tend to just leave War Mode on at all times and go about their business, but Alliance tend to only have it on when running around in giant, skill-less deathballs planting banners and spamming emotes. Sure, there are smaller groups, but most of the time you get people like the ones mentioned earlier that refuse to act unless there is a substantial difference in numbers. This results in large, cohesive Alliance groups fighting multiple smaller, disorganized Horde ones.

And we still win most of the time :sunglasses:

I’m glad something is being done, good luck!

They’ll need it!

They only kill with numbers, and if sharding bugs out which NEEEEEEVER happens and they’re left with equal numbers of players, you better believe they are going to be destroyed, like usual.

But then again, any time Alliance lose at something, it’s immediately because of ‘Horde bias’, so it won’t amount to a real victory…

RealmPop numbers include inactive accounts which are in the millions, so they are very inaccurate and I will NEVER go by Blizzard’s (Activision’s) own words, because they will say and do anything that would bring profit.

I mean, I get where you’re coming from, but eventually you have to use something as a source for current populations. I have no doubt that populations are not 100% balanced, but I don’t think it’s anywhere near where people currently put the numbers. You can tell because whenever a new week resets, and AOO is up, because most shards are filled to the brim with [insert class here] + Holy Paladin pairs, formed into raid groups, running around being wiiiiiicked tough.

That is, until the CTA and AOO quests are done, then it becomes a wasteland again full of poor, downtrodden Alliance players who ‘don’t have the numbers’ to compete… I guess people forgot what Incursions looked like when they were first introduced.

Not enough players ehh?

Ummmm if that was the case blizzard wouldn’t have to offer AOO to get alliance back into warmode

If you really think about it, the Alliance side has been at 30% till this week. So the one’s reaping the benefits of AOO are the Alliance player’s that have never left WM to begin with. :cowboy_hat_face:

That’s a difference of tens of thousands of players; it’s not at all balanced. Also, the imbalance is now back up to 46/54 (counting 120s only).

Back in the middle of 8.1, the overall imbalance went down to 52/48, the war mode imbalance went below 1:2, and the complaints from both sides ceased. That’s what Blizzard needs to aim for.

Unfortunately, 8.2 changes increasing the requirements for CTA but failing to increase requirements for AOO resulted in AOO becoming ineffective. Fix that, and we’ll be back to reasonable balance again.

120 pop 53.6% Horde/46.4% Alliance

So far nothing but opinions you’re bloviating as fact.

Yeah, roving horde zerg raids and meager rewards for being the outnumbered faction. They asked for shard changes and incentives to switch back alliance, they gave AOO instead and the scaling WM bonus.

No the Alliance turning off war mode only exacerbated the problem for the people who stuck it out on Alliance. Like I said, I had no problem with it, because most Horde are just as bad as most Alliance and we were farming Horde raids nightly on multiple shards and getting our WM achievements.

Like I’ve said multiple times, I haven’t been one of those people and neither has my guild or the communities we are a part of. It doesn’t matter what venue it is, whether it’s wpvp or BGs, I have no problems beating Horde.

It’s actually great, because I get to farm all of you and gear up all of my alts at the same time, then watch you make threads whining about it on the forums. It’s like a 2 for 1 deal.

this tbh I haven’t bothered leaving wm yet despite the horde zergs. dying once or twice to your average horde player hiding in a pack ain’t any skin off my teeth that 30% (now 25%) is far made up quickly.
