This is my last achievement for Glory of the Cataclysm thingy, and I’m having trouble getting thru without killing the boss too soon. I thought rez sickness would help, but it only lasts a few seconds now (did not know that!). Any suggestions on how to do enough damage to get him to each phase where he’ll kill off the angered elementals but not so much that I kill him outright or bypass the second phase entirely?

It’s been a while since I’ve one it but if you need to phase an old boss without killing it, try stripping and punching it instead.
Nope going bare still one shots. Using Shrink ray toy also doesnt work as that too one shots and doesnt last long enough to make all the adds spawn. Rez Sick was changed in the recent updates to last 1 minute so you cant even use that as a means to carry it out. And you cant use a lower leveled alt as the achievements arent transferable.
Only way to potentially do this is level a character to a point the boss just turns grey and carry the fight out properly.
Foam sword toy?
Sadly, the toy cannot be used inside an instance.
