Yeah, I’m surprised there wasn’t an RP/PVP East Coast option. But on Chaos Bolt I get about 80-90 ping so I figure it’s good enough.

The realm times are not CST, but east coast servers are located in Chicago I believe.
I’m getting 7ms ping from southern IL.

I was playing from 1am to 9 this morning and All the zones were slammed full with streamers offline.
At 6am a literal mosh pit in the barrens. I can understand the lock
It is. I rolled alliance there and regretting it. I’m alliance at heart, but I feel the horde could use some numbers, and I’d get to fight the streamer gang. Sad thing is if I delete my alliance characters I’ll get locked out. Only other option is Chaos Bolt and 70plus MS due to it being west coast. Oh well, time to be patient and see what happens.
I’m East Coast and have played on Grobbulus since day one. Ping has always been fine.

Any word on when this will be reverted? My friend can’t join and play with our guild because he was queue-locked for 90+ minutes yesterday.

I’m East Coast and MS was just fine on CB last night.
That’s really encouraging to hear. I haven’t really jumped on a west coast sever before because of the higher ms.
Realistically how low of a ping/ms do you really need to do everything without a disadvantage?
you should be fine with anything under 100ms.

That should’ve been announced earlier, and not just go there and lock it. Are you guys going nuts? Now I have friends that are online playing and I can’t join them because I had 9000 players in queue yesterday, and today I had to work whole day, and as soon as I reached home I still had time to create it since it was exactly one hour ago, but because the queue again I couldn’t create my character on time. Thats ridiculous, you guys know thats known as backstabbing… That lock should’ve been announced one or day before the actual lock. So people could prepare their guildies and stuff like that. You know that you guys made a mistake. Now go there and unlock that off …

I’ve only read that at you don’t really notice until it gets up over 100-110. The thing is, if I’m on a localized realm with 16ms, and the sever acts up (it happens) and jumps up 80 ms for the night, I’d be in much better shape on a realm with normally 16ms vs 80ms. It’s not life or death, just used to having a few more East Coast options.
