With Ret Aura gone and Crusader Aura it’s on talent point now, does it work for flying? Or is it just a dead spot in the tree now?

Same reason they don’t have devotion aura and conc aura not baseline. Just cause.
They should all be baseline.

Agreed, the utilities should be baseline. All of them. The choices nodes should be choice improvement for these utilities, maybe 1-2 extra new utilities rather then putting them into the tree and calling it a day. Things like Auras and Blessings should be out of the tree and into the spell book.
Give us things like Unbound Freedom style of choice node. Let us choose the type of ENHANCEMENT to the talents rather then choosing talents itself. It can be a positive choice but lesser degree vs a kiss curse choice but with a larger positive/negatives.
Give us back things like Might, Kings and Wisdom(which they have repurposed and gave it to our lizard friends) as well.
