Does anybody know the reason you’re recommended to get two of these weapons by various places as best in slot for Havoc? Does having two increase the number of procs to the point it’s a dps gain? Cruciform Veinripper in particular Icy Veins and other places say I should dual wield them but not why.

Weapons with procs work especially well for Demon Hunters dual-wield.

Sim it with raidbots or simulationcraft. Extremely helpful tools for improving your build.
The theory which I feel is somewhat skewed is that if you have 2 VRs its double damage on the proc. Though I feel its just an increased proc chance, nothing damage wise
I have 2, you are correct.
I am running 2 as well at 291 ilvl, and on a boss fight, they’re doing 800-1k+ dps overall.
I wish all bosses would face in one direction and that direction was easily discernable.
I have that problem with the Venthyr enemies. Their twisted pose makes it hard to figure out what their back is to me.
Yeah, like when doing Sylvanas, jeez I can never tell where she is looking.
From what I understand of her despite all the flitting around she does her position for melee remains static so she can be hit still. I think it’s supposed to imply her moves are just that fast. So if you’re behind her when she blinks away to attack she’ll still be in that spot even if she isn’t visually.
