Crucifix: Infinite Lich, Rewriting the Rules of Time

This is the story of Crucifix, my Dracthyr Shadow Priest.

Crucifix wasn’t always a disciple of shadow and time’s unraveling. Once, they were a dutiful soldier of the Dracthyr, forged for battle under Neltharion’s command. They followed orders, mastered magic, and never questioned the path laid out for them. But when the Aspects fell and the Dracthyr were left unmoored, Crucifix began to wonder—who decided their fate, and why should they accept it?

The answers came in the whispers of the Infinite Dragonflight, echoing through the ruins of forgotten history. They didn’t offer mere power; they offered something far greater—freedom. Freedom from the so-called “true” timeline, from the shackles of Titan design, from the illusion that the past and future were set in stone. The more Crucifix listened, the more they saw time for what it was: not a sacred order, but a story waiting to be rewritten.

So, they took control of their own narrative. Where other Dracthyr adopted mortal guises, Crucifix chose the form of a lich—a being that defied the natural cycle, much like their own existence between fate and chaos. Sustained by void energy and the shifting currents of time, they became something beyond life and death, an enigma untouched by decay and bound only by their own will.

Now, as an agent of the Infinite Dragonflight, Crucifix works to unravel the threads of destiny itself. Whether through whispers in the dark or open defiance, they will tear down the old order and reshape time as they see fit. After all, why should they be a pawn in someone else’s story when they could be the one holding the pen?
