I know this isn’t even remotely in your wheelhouse, Blizzard, but please showcase the game being played on a quality CRT monitor. It is the superior display technology, and it needs to make a resurgence. I don’t care about the stats; these monitors are more than 20 years old at this point and they still have features that dominate contemporary monitors. Imagine if they continued to iterate on them.
The aftermarket for these peripherals, even cheap ones, is steep and becoming even steeper. Virtually all CRT patents should be public domain at this point. I believe that this scenario could prompt a manufacturer into seizing the demand.
All those movies from the 80s and 90s about the future had CRTs in them. Don’t make them liars, Blizzard!
