I think CC needs to make a come back for dungeons and raids like what’s the point of having theses skills and not use them to make any strategy during a run and make it more fun than to just blast through it???
I use cc pretty often for hunter pets and healers in pvp, but I’ve noticed they’re useless everywhere else.
Last time i had fun with CC was in the burning crusade in hellfire ramparts
Once WOTLK came, CC went out. I have hated dungeons since. We suffer pulls without using sheep, sap, traps, etc. What is the point? They only use it in PVP now. If you don’t PVP? Out of luck.
I think “CC on every single pull” was a kind of ridiculous design in retrospect thinking about BC Heroics, but “no CC ever” is not really an improvement
CC on every pull makes sense on heroic or M or M+. It is supposed to be difficult. CC reduces difficulty and takes planning.
It also slows the flow of gameplay, makes characters feel weak, and reduces positional difficulty.
Need to have more boss fights where CC matters imo, rather than trash
How does it slow down game play by using CC???
The only time I occasionally use CC is on TW dungeons and thats because the majority of the dungeon group don’t know the fights.
Now that is what slows down runs lol all the wipes 
Yes noobs in TW can be a nightmare of wipes. 
Did you play BC when it was current or very early Cata? Stop, mark targets, pull. Stop, mark targets, pull. The general pace of gameplay has shot up since then so it’d probably still be faster than those days, but a no- voice chat dungeon was frequently an hour or two of investment.
Because instead of pulling a pack of 5 you are pulling effectively 5 packs of 1? I don’t understand the confusion here. It literally takes at least 6 times as long to go that route.
Regardless, CC does see usage whether you want to pay attention to it or not. CC is great for some awful packs this week on Bolstering (especially those with disjointed health bars like in Shrine). and is good on the Priestess boss in AD as well as it means you don’t have to waste damage on the add.
CC made a short lived come back in Cataclysm. People whined during WotLK that dungeons were too easy. They made them harder in Cataclysm, still easier than TBC heroics at entry level, but people cried that they were too difficult. They nerfed them into the ground again after.
I still miss BC heroics. The last time dungeons were actually difficult and required CC to not wipe. Where certain heroic dungeons were literally DPS checks and CC skill checks.
you can bind markers to keys. So there goes that timeflow theory. Takes a second or so to set up CC.
I played BC. It was superior. You actually had to play. Not just mouth breath through dungeons. I know you probably like licking your screen and collecting loot, but this current pull 50 mobs and burn them down is terrible design. It is like diablo. No skill, just burn and heal. Nothing more.
CC on some pulls makes sense, I agree that 10 packs in a row that require 2-3 uses of cc each gets tedious.
lol too difficult just wine cause they don’t know their class i’ve been on runs where mages didn’t know how to buff or locks lay down health stones 
If you even triple pull this week you are probably going to instantly wipe in keys since it is fort+bolstering. Even then on double pulls you have to layer AoE CC or you are going to get killed by a stray shot of the 4x bolstered mob hitting the healer and 100-0’ing them.
I like how I said I wanted some CC back in the game and that even full BC CC implementation would be faster if implemented these days, and all you got from that was… some nonsense about diablo.
