Crossrealm anything is the death of the community

because thats how they want it

So it’s truly aligned with the Classic experience and how people experienced the game when it released. I’m glad BWL, ZG, AQ20/40, and Naxx were released 4-6 months prior to Burning Crusade. No wonder Karazhan and Azshara weren’t implemented!

gates were way before 1.12 and scourge invasion was like 1.9 or something? what you on?

you are right, they should leave that stuff out to be more authentic.

people want no changes but they also want a hybrid patch that never existed, interesting

Doesnt matter what server the people im bging against is from, i dont even look at names. The point of the bg is objective based.

That’s a retail mindset. Everyone is faceless and nameless. Queue into a Warfront in retail and AV is nearly identical to it.

Actually its not a retail mindset. Its now a classic mindset.

Ah that’s right. After yesterday we’re all retail now. Just call me “Dwarf Hunter”. Don’t bother with the server or name. I’m just a NPC fulfilling the raid count.

Crossrealm is the knife that kills wow.

This is what Alliance players call PvP.

I agree 100% with the OP. What made Classic special was server community.

Taking #nochanges to the extreme that they have will prove to be very unwise in the long run.

What they needed to preserve was the spirit of Classic, not the literal bad features that existed at 1.12 and beyond.

I think the #nochanges crowd will eventually regret their slogan.

Exactly. Spot on.

1.12 was the start of what led to retail wow today.

We LITERALLY already have CRBGs in retail. Other than to purposely kill the game, there is no reason to have made CRBG in classic.

Maybe this game will die and blizz will try yet again

The community is the death of the community.

I totally agree. I hate cross realm anything but blizzard went that way in order to appease the horde and reduce their wait times. Blizzard always seems to look after their faction I have no idea why

Cross realm bgs were intended to reduce horde wait times. I was there during classic pre cross realm. Horde players would wait up to an hour in queue to get into a BG

This is what it is to be on a pvp server. I did that in retail. No one in my guild ever went out alone.

I rolled on a non-pvp server in classic.

Its sad to say, but the pvp right now is why I stopped with 1.12. back in the days. Ally camps you on GY, refuses to hand in the flag, spits and swears in yell and you can do nothing about it, as they are not on your own server.

Others are just afk all game or insult weaker players. People leave and join the BG all the time, there is no tactic or any interest in winning. Besides that, premades vs. pugs all the time, even at level 19 WSG.

It´s just no fun at all.

this would be happening regardless of xrealm or not

stuff has been spreadsheeted to death for 15 years on private servers, this is just the most effective method to farm rep and honor.
